SEO Tips: Use WordPress to make a low cost website

It is estimated there are around 35 million websites that use the WordPress software. The main reason there are so many is cost, or lack of it. The WordPress software your website runs on is free. All you need to pay for is the hosting and this can be from only a few pound a month.

Of course WordPress has been designed as a blogging platform, but there is no reason why you can’t use it just to run your website, without using the blogging features at all.

Getting started is very easy. First choose a host that supports WordPress preferably one that allow for simple one-click install of the WordPress software.

WordPress comes pre-installed with the Twenty Eleven theme and all you need to do is create your own header, add the pages and you’re up and running.
