Google search is getting more fussy about web page speed

The other reason I’m writing it is because I’ve spent the past two weeks helping several website owners to identify why the position of their website’s have dropped in Google.

Website user experience is becoming more important to Google

And after looking into all the possibilities, we’re coming to the conclusion, that at least part of the issue is to do with how quickly their visitors are able to use and interact with the websites.

The simple fact is Google is now very focused on ensuring people finding results from their search engine get a good user experience and one of the things they focus on most closely is how quickly your website pages load up in a users browser.

Webpages must load quickly for a high position in Google

It makes good sense if you think about it. When you are looking for something on the internet and click onto a web page it is frustrating if it takes more than a few seconds to load. Google is very aware of this and wants it to happen less, especially with clicks from the search engine results.

In simple terms if your website is slow, it may not get as good a position in Google as it used to.
